About Iran: they just amputated a thief's hand in front of other prisoners this week. It was the second time this month.

Still, throwing out the baby with the bathwater in favor of the typical red tape snagged, overly expensive and poorly designed complex of government agencies isn't the way to go. A tiny percentage of the ObamaCare law are things that needed to be done, but there's that huge bloated mess that comes with it -- not to mention some problems that were *not* addressed.
Although I consider myself someone who thinks we should be stronger on crime and punishment, I suspect you and I agree that Shariah law might not be the way to go!
