Internet fail and historic fires

The internet's been hopping up and down -- mostly down -- all night, so I gave up on my attempt to catch up with everyone's posts/tweets/pronouncements and went back to work on my hisory of the Albion Fire Department.  The working title: Smoky Days and Sleepless Nights: A Century or So With the Albion Fire Department.

Mediacom. This is the second time in about three weeks that it's happened -- the first time it went down all across the whole county. The odd thing is that cable TV comes in through the same wiring, but it didn't go down when the internet did.
