Whoa, what -- I just hit 100 followers on my MarkRHunter Twitter account. Maybe it shouldn't count, since I haven't done a spam hunt lately and the number's being going up and down, but it still gave me a kick to hit the three digits.

My StormChaserBook twitter only has 11 followers, but since I announced I was going to delete it (and ended up not, although it's something of a duplication of effort), that's hardly surprising.

You probably have an intelligent twitter. I had one with everyone I knew on it, and it was so annoying, I kicked everyone off except one guy who makes videos of his kitten playing and being cute. :)

I'm not sure there's all that much intelligence on twitter! :->

The only reason I got twitter to begin with is to publicize my book and upcoming writing projects -- to build a fan base, basically. That being the case, I'm a little hesitant to kick anyone off because I worry that I might be losing a reader that way.

:-) It makes me feel guilty sometimes, like I'm stringing people along in the hopes of making a sale. If I was the egotistical type, I'd say I was preparing to treat them -- but I'm not that self-confident!
