And just one day before my urologist appointment ... :-)

The Noble County Relay For Life is kicking off its 2010 campaign against cancer with a meeting January 21st at the Noble County Library main branch in Albion. They still need help with all the committees necessary to keep the annual event up and running.

The West Noble High School track area has been confirmed to again host the Relay, which will be held on May 22 and 23rd. But there’s a lot of work to do before then, and a tentative schedule of upcoming meetings will be announced soon. Everyone is invited to the Kick Off, which will open in the library’s downstairs meeting room at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting starting at 7.

The Relay has set a goal this year to form at least 40 teams, and beat last year’s $43,000 in donations – but they can’t do that without the public’s help.

More details and contact information about the Noble County Relay for Life can be found at their website, at: www.relayforlife.org/noblecountyin . Anyone interested in helping can call NCRL committee chairman Ed Anderson at (260) 693-2338, or e-mail him at speed95@ligtel.com or eanderson@nobleco.org .
