Heard the first snow plow of the season go by earlier ... didn't feel nostalgic at all.
On a totally unrelated note, I'm leaving first thing in the morning for Missouri, to pick up Emily for Christmas break. I know what you're thinking ... but if the forecasts are correct, it's supposed to warm some overnight and I shouldn't have anything to deal with but rain and strong winds. Beats snow and strong winds, any day!
Then we'll get back in time to deal with single digit temperatures and below zero wind chills ....
Okay, off to bed -- it'll be a long day tomorrow. But first, where did all those LiveJournal virtual gifts come from? Suddenly I'm feeling loved. See you late in the week when I post my next column, and happy holidays!
