Although it's probably not a problem for Nicki Clyne, who's hardly a big star, I suppose many celebrities might like talking to fans every now and then just to get a "regular person" outlook. After all, by the time you get big enough to hire a publicist you have to start wondering how many of the people you see in your day to day life are really friends, and how many of them just like being around celebrities -- or want to catch a bit of the reflected light for themselves.
