It's such a balancing act: If you get a bad field fire on a very cool day (which happens, from time to time), you can bundle up completely in your structural firefighting gear, and not worry about the heat of the fire. But when it gets this hot, heat exhaustion becomes as serious a threat as the original fire. When it's a hundred degrees, just walking to the fire is pretty bad!
